AFTER coming through the Burton Albion Academy, commanding centre-half Liam Slade would go on to make eight appearances in total for the senior side, including six in the league.
Slade's debut came in our title-winning 2014/15 season in a 3-1 defeat away at Bury, with loan spells following at Redditch United, Telford United and Brackley Town.
