Damien McCrory discusses the goal, his performance and being ready to start on Saturday.
On Playing 90 Minutes:
"I was prepared as the gaffer was thinking about starting me.Â
"He obviously felt I couldn't start and at the end my knee got a little bit achy and my legs were getting tired.Â
"I've only had 45 minutes previous to that, but with the goal it's been a positive night."
On Scoring With His First Touch:Â
"I came on and took a couple of throw-ins, but that was the actual first touch with my feet.
"Macca (Alex MacDonald) got it inside and I was looking for the set-back to take a touch, but he sent it across.Â
"I just ran onto it and there was only one thing in my mind, which was to have a shot.
"I caught it really nice and it just sailed into the top corner.Â
"I'd definitely put it up there, but I wouldn't vote it the best on the night."Â
On Defending The One Goal Lead:
"There was a lot of pressure on us in the second-half, but I thought as a whole we defended quite well.Â
"It was a shame to let them back in it at 4-3 and there was a bit of a mix-up between Shane (Cansdell-Sherriff) and Jon (McLaughlin).
"We'll put that right and going back the last couple of weeks we've had a lot of pressure.
"You'd think they might possibly come and get the equaliser, but we held on well".Â
On Being Ready For Saturday:
"I'll have to prepare right and see how it goes Friday.
"If the gaffer wants me to play Saturday, hopefully my knee holds up."Â
