BURTON TEAM NEWS

The only absentees tomorrowwill be winger Jimmy Phillips, who is recovering from a torn knee ligament, left-back Damien McCrory, who will be missing for another month as he comes back from an operation on his knee and midfielder Lee Bell, who has not played in pre-season with a knee problem of his own.

Lucas Akins is a doubt after injuring his hand on Saturday, whilst Marcus Harness and Matty Palmer could get a chance after impressing against Dagenham.

EXETER TEAM NEWS

Tom Nichols is a doubt for tonight’s game after injuring himself while making a tackle against the Pilgrims and, if he does miss out, then Cummins is expected to lead the line.

Many managers could be tempted to make wholesale changes after such a defeat, but, even if Tisdale wanted to, it is not really an option for him.

GARY ROWETT ON KEE'S DEPARTURE

"He was in the last year of his contract and I got the feeling he wasn't going to be happy coming in and out of the side.

"When he heard about the interest, he was keen to pursue it.

"It's not something in an ideal world you would be looking to do, But when a player's keen to further their own ambitions it's very hard to stand in their way.

"He's been an integral part of the team in the last three or four seasons and we've got to accept his wishes. I just sensed this year Billy, in himself, was ready forthat new challenge."

PAUL TISDALE

“The issue we have got is that we are thin in depth,” said Tisdale, who is also without Jamie Reid and Jordan Moore-Taylor.

“Those players have to go out and do it again on Tuesday, I don’t have the opportunity to refresh or tinker, but that is a good thing for those players.

“They will be out there again on Tuesday and that is the way it has to be. I have to say I thought the senior players were the best players on the day on Saturday.”

STATS

1. Burton Albion have made their best start to a season in more than 30 years.

2. Not since the 1983-84 Northern League season have Albion won their first three matches of a campaign in league or cup.

3. Burton have won seven, drew two and lost five in their 14 meetings against Exeter City.

4. Exeter have yet to win a game this season after drawing with Portsmouth and losing to Bournemouth and Plymouth.

BETTING:

Burton made it back-to-back League 2 wins to open the season after two late Billy Kee goals secured a 2-1 win over Dagenham on Saturday. The Brewers are 3/4 favourites to beat Exeter on Tuesday night as they look to make it three in a row. Exeter suffered a disappointing 3-0 defeat to local rivals Plymouth last time out and are 4/1 to net their first victory of the campaign. The draw is 12/5 and backing both teams to score in the second half at 3/1 looks an interesting option.

Top tip: Both teams to score in the second half at 3/1
