Voting open for Player of the Season

Your chance to vote for awards

Voting is now open for your Burton Albion Player of the Year and Goal of the Season for 2013/14.


With the end of the season approaching, the time has come to nominate who you think has been the club’s standout player over the course of the season, as well as picking he best goal scored out of the 51 netted by the side in all competitions this season.


You’ll be able to vote for both awards by picking up a voting form from the club shop, or by tearing out and filling in the voting page in the matchday programmes for the games against Plymouth Argyle, Hartlepool United and Chesterfield.


Voting is open until Sunday 4th May, with the winners of both awards being announced at the annual Players’ Awards event, which takes place on Tuesday 6th May.


The vote for Player of the Season is open, and there are ten options for Goal of the Season, as listed below:

Billy Kee’s 1st goal vs Wycombe – Away

Adam McGurk’s 1st goal vs Chesterfield – Away

Adam McGurk’s 2nd goal vs Chesterfield – Away

Zeli Ismail vs Morecambe – Away

Dominic Knowles vs Oxford – Away

Adam McGurk vs Wycombe – Home

Jack Dyer vs Fulham – Home

Matty Palmer vs Hereford – Home

Phil Edwards vs Exeter – Away


Voting slips can be returned to the Club Shop at the Pirelli Stadium, or in the boxes provided at the snack bars around the stadium on matchdays.

Voting opens tomorrow at the Plymouth game, and closes at 5pm on Sunday 4th May.
