BLYTH ON SATURDAY'S PERFORMANCE

22 September 2014

Jacob Blyth spoke about the Bury defeat and getting his first goal as a Brewer.

On Saturday's Defeat At Bury:

"It was just a case of a few individual errors.

"I thought we had stuck to our jobs well and the shape in the first-half was good.

"We had a few chances of our own, but it's a bad day at the office and we'll move on."

On The Gaffer:

"He was not happy with the sloppy goals, but no manager would be.

"We haven't conceded really good team in goals in the last two games and they've been really sloppy.

"We'll need to clean up on that and obviously be a lot more clinical down the other end.

"We're all human and we all make mistakes. No-ones got on to anybody and we're a good team like that, so we'll bounce back."

On His Goal:

"I'm happy to get my first goal and it gave the team a bit of momentum, especially as I thought we were going to nick a couple more.

"We came here to set out for three points, but as we went three-nil down, we got that goal I thought it drove us on to get something out the game."

On The Week Ahead:

"We're all looking forward to it and we've done well in the cups this year knocking out Premier League and Championship teams.

"With two home games this week I'm sure we'll bounce back."
