BEN ROBSON GIVES HIS YOUNG FAN'S VIEW

25 September 2014

Hello and welcome to young fan’s view. After our excellent unbeaten start to the season, we have suffered two crushing losses against promotion hopefuls in the space of five days (AFC Wimbledon and Bury). We still stay second, however, which is surprising given the losses that we have experienced. At the time of writing, the Capital One Cup 3rd Round match against Brighton & Hove Albion has not been played yet. I thought before we played AFC Wimbledon that we would beat Brighton, but after the last two matches I think that, although we lost the last two games, we still have a good chance of winning the fixture.

After Brighton, we face another promotion-chasing side, Cheltenham Town, at the Pirelli. They started the season well but are winless in their last four games. I expect us to win due to our 100% record at home in all competitions but they will provide a stern test and I see it as a must-win.

It’s a bit late, but looking back on the transfer window, I think it was a successful one from a Brewers' point of view. Yes, we may have lost Zander Diamond and Billy Kee, but the calibre of players that we have brought in is excellent, and I have been impressed with all of them so far this season.

I have looked at the fixture list and I cannot believe the difficulty of our fixtures up to the end of November. We face Brighton, Cheltenham, Doncaster, Northampton, Morecambe, Plymouth, Wycombe, Luton and Shrewsbury all in the space of 10 weeks; these teams are in the top 13 teams of league two or higher leagues and they are expected to challenge for promotion in their leagues respectively.

Let’s hope the Brewers beat the other teams in our league to promotion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

COME ON YOU BREWERSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
