BACT TO OFFER COACHING COURSES TO INDIVIDUALS WITH CEREBRAL PALSY

26 September 2014

Burton Albion Community Trust are delighted to announce a new scheme of football provision specifically for individuals with Cerebral Palsy.

Sessions will take place on Saturday mornings during school term time from Saturday 11th October. The sessions will run from 10.00am-11.00am at St George’s Park, and are open to boys and girls from ages 5-16.

BACT have worked closely with the Staffordshire FA and East Staffordshire Borough Council, and through that work the sessions will take place on the David Beckham 3G AstroTurf Pitch at St George’s Park, offering the players a unique opportunity to play on a high quality surface.

BACT’s Disability Officer Steve Shuttlewood said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to grow provision for Cerebral Palsy Sport in this County. The Launch day on the 17th of August created a real platform for us to make this a success for all. We must give many thanks to Sam Turner and his team at CP Sport.”
