ALBION PLAYERS DROP IN ON PRIMARY SCHOOL

7 December 2016

BURTON Albion players Chris O’Grady and John Brayford have dropped into Sudbury Primary School to meet pupils.

The Brewers striker and defender answered questions that had already been prepared in class by the pupils about their lives and football careers. They then took time out to sign autographs and pose for pictures with all the pupils in the school.

The visit was organised by Burton Albion Community Trust which engages with the school for its Raising Aspirations programme.

Matt Hancock, Burton Albion Community Trust Manager, said: “The programme is all about broadening youngsters’ horizons in terms of their future lives and job prospects.

“The players are great role models and can talk about how they have fulfilled their dreams. It shows the youngsters that whatever your dream is that if you work hard enough it can be achieved.”
