THREE Burton Albion stars Marvin Sordell, Lloyd Dyer, and Michael Kightly yesterday visited River View Primary School to support a Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT) project.
The Awards for All Holiday Clubs are funded by the National Lottery Awards for All programme and give children the opportunity to take part in a two-day holiday club. Whilst at the club they get to play a number of different sports including dodge ball, handball, and football, alongside learning about healthy lifestyles and healthy eating.Â
The players joined the holiday club answering questions that had been prepared by the 24 Year 1 and 2 students, where we found out that the players enjoyed chicken fajitas. The players later showed off their skills in small-sided football games, which the children thoroughly enjoyed.
