BEN TURNER'S IPSWICH REACTION

19 October 2016

BURTON defender Ben Turner felt the Brewers should have gone into the half time break with a few goals lead against Ipswich on Tuesday.

Nigel Clough's men fell to a 2-0 defeat at Portman Road after failing to put chances away in the first half but Ben Turner says the first half performance was one of the best:

"The first half is about the best we have played all season and we should have been going in to the break with a couple of goals but we didn't take a chances then obviously they got a goal and we're chasing the game.

"It's really disappointing because we felt in the first half it was about as good as we can play but we don't take any chances so we don't take a lead.

"It's frustrating but we need to put it right. We can't really do more than we did, especially in the first half so we have to do that again, there's only so many times you can lose when you play like that.

"It's one of them where if you take the first one you'll probably take then next two or three, we could have had five or six in the first half."
