BURTON Albion are back on the road tomorrow as they travel south to face Brentford in the Sky Bet Championship.
Despite being on the same points tally the two sides are separated by goal difference in the league.The Bees have lost their last four games including the most-recent 5-0 thumping they took from Norwich City last Saturday. They lost all of their games in November, conceding seven goals in the process although hey were unlucky not to earn anything against Blackburn in which they lost 3-2.
It’s been a much-improved last few games for the Brewers who are unbeaten in their last two, and have lost just once in their last four. Nigel Clough’s men most-recently beat Rotherham 2-1 at the Pirelli Stadium and will be looking to take advantage of Brentford’s recent poor run of form.
Clough will have to do so without the help of Stuart Beavon who is still out with an injury: “Stuart Beavon has a dead long and hasn’t trained this week which is why he wasn’t in the 18 last Saturday,” said the Brewers boss.
The Albion have never faced Brentford in a competitive fixture, and Nigel Clough knows that it’s not going to be an easy task at Griffin Park: “There will be a bit of backlash after their last result and they will be struggling confidence wise after losing four on the spin but they will see it as a real opportunity to get back on track.
“When you are playing a team that hasn’t won away from home, despite your current form, I’m sure they will be thinking thy have a home victory here.
“They have to guard against that. We are due an away win – so it’s going to be an interesting game.
“We expect them to come out of the blocks and attack us early on. It’s a great atmosphere there and one of the few stadiums like ourselves with terracing.”

Burton supports will be housed in the Brook Road Stand, which has two levels for seating and terracing. The upper level houses the seats, whilst the lower level is terracing.

All match tickets must be collected from the Pirelli Stadium before the day of the game.
