CHRISTENSEN HOPES TO MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON BREWERS

27 January 2017

LASSE Vigen Christensen hopes to make a difference at Burton Albion after arriving on loan from Fulham until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old from Denmark said: “That’s what you hope to do when you sign for a team - to make a difference in a positive way. I have come here to do everything I can to help the team.

“I’m a two-way midfielder. I can do a job going forward but also going the other way as well.”

Christensen has arrived alongside another Fulham player, striker Cauley Woodrow.

He said: “It’s always nice have someone you know to help you settle in. It makes moving to a new place that little bit easier.

“We will both work hard for the cause and do what we can to help push the team up the table.”

Christensen will be available for the QPR game tomorrow.

He said: “It’s a very important game. I was in this situation with Fulham and I know how tough this league is to pick up results both home and away. Every game is big and hopefully me and Cauley will be involved tomorrow and kick on from there.”
