BURTON Albion’s Supporter Liaison Group has met for the first team and is now looking forward to helping the club build the future.
The group has been set up to represent supporters’ views and to help provide a constructive channel to the football club.
At the first meeting the group got to know each other and set out a timetable for meetings going forward and a framework for how it aims to operate.
Burton Albion Commercial Director Fleur Robinson was at the meeting.
She said: “It was a very positive start to what we all hope will be an important new avenue for supporter engagement with the club.
“Every member of the group is passionate about Burton Albion and wants to make a positive impact going forward.
“The club has helped set up the group but it’s important now that it is independent and it’s very much up to the members to drive it forward and set the agenda.
“The members are a good cross section of our fanbase and I hope all our supporters will see the group as the best forum for channelling feedback to the club.
“I’m looking forward to hearing the group’s ideas and working with them.”
