FREE FOOTBALL ACTIVITIES BEFORE CARDIFF MATCH

26 September 2016

UNDER 16s are being offered the chance to enjoy 45 minutes of free fun football activities before seeing the Brewers take on Cardiff in the EFL Championship.

Burton Albion Community Trust will be hosting the football skills session from 1.30pm to 2.15pm ahead of kick off at 3pm on Saturday, October 1.
The activities will take place on the new 3G artificial pitch and will be run by the trust’s qualified coaches.
Anyone under 16 can take part if they have a valid ticket for the match. Taking pace at the same time is a free disabilities session which will again be run by the community trust staff.
After the first free session the football skills activities will take place at every Saturday home game with a small charge.
The cost is £3 for the football skills session - or £1 for Junior Brewers. The disabilities session will remain free of charge.
Andy Taylor, Head of Community at BACT, said: “Now we have the new artificial pitch available we want to make match days even more special for our young fans.
The football skills sessions will be great fun and if you are a Junior Brewer it will cost just £8 for the session and admission to the games going forward. But the session at the Cardiff game is free so youngsters can come on down and get a taste of what we are offering.
“We hope to see as many of our young supporters as possible taking part.”

Match tickets  (£7 terrace, £14 seats, for under 17s) should be purchased before arriving at the session online at www.burtonalbionfc.co.uk by calling 01283 565938 or from the club shop.
Those taking part in the football skills sessions in the future can pay on the day on arrival but must produce a valid match ticket first.
