NIGEL Clough was pleased with Burton Albion's performance against Chester as the Brewers thumped three past the northern side.
There were some negatives at Chester as O'Grady pulled up before the game with a groin injury and Flanagan was taken off on a stretcher.
"Tom Flanagan took a very innocuous challenge, I think the lad just caught him with his knee which was completely accidental and he felt a bit rough so they took him to hospital just to check him over."
Akins and Beavon led the line and between them they scored all three goals.
"Between the two strikers they got three goals so that was nice. I think we played some good stuff today.
"I know the opposition is going to be considerably better next week no disrespect to Chester. I think some of the goals we scored were very good," said Clough.
