BURTON Albion will travel to Bristol City on Saturday with Nigel Clough’s options depleted by injury.
The Brewers boss said: “There are a few doubtful, a few definitely out and a few struggling.
“John Brayford is a doubt still, Damien McCrory is playing tonight in the Birmingham Senior Cup to get a game and we will see how he is. Jackson Irvine is doubtful for Saturday.
“Kyle McFadzean should be OK. He was on the bench against Blackburn Rovers, got on for 10 minutes, but he won’t risk him in the Birmingham Senior Cup.
“Michael Kightly remains a doubt for Saturday with his tight hamstring and Lucas Akins is very unlikely as well so there will be a few missing again.
“We haven’t had a settled side out in certain areas but that’s what the squad is for. You have to change it around. It’s the same with formations as well – you have to be flexible.”
