NIGEL CLOUGH'S BRENTFORD REACTION

10 December 2016

NIGEL Clough felt today's defeat at Brentford was an good opportunity to put some more points on the board, which wasn't taken.

He said: "It was an opportunity missed today to go and get something from the game.

"Second half I thought we was better and ironically in the first half we go in 1-1 and we're well in the game. I thought we was a bit unlucky in the second half."

The bees took the lead early on but Burton equalised before half time, then Brentford scored a second in the second half to win the game.

Nigel Clough said: "We didn't stop Brentford playing enough. When we come away from home we think we can play our football, it's not about that it's about stopping the opposition sometimes."

Both goals came from Scott Hogan each side of half time.

"It was a hell of a ball through (for the first goal) but it shouldn't go through two central defenders like that," said Clough.

He added: "We were at sixes and sevens, we hadn't got our positions back from the corner and it's something we're still banging on about all the time."
