NIGEL CLOUGH'S BRISTOL CITY REACTION

4 March 2017

NIGEL Clough thought a draw was a fair result in the end after it ended 0-0 at Bristol City.

He said: "They missed a penalty and we missed one of the best chances we will have all season so it's a case of a good point but it could have been three.

"I thought we had enough chances on the break to have got a goal today. It was mainly from wide areas with the ball being crossed in that we had our best situations."

Lloyd Dyer missed Abion's golden opportunity to grab a goal.

Clough said: "It has just come off his heel but he had the time to stop the ball and tap it in but that has been one of our problems all season, that composure in the final third. Cauley Woodroow had a chance after that he put wide and things like that will bug us until the end of the season, getting into good situations but not making the most of them.

"With the chance that hit both posts at Blackburn last week that's two draws in a row that could have easily been wins. Another four points on the board and we are a long way towards achieving our target but that is four games unbeaten and a good way to go into the game at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday."
