NIGEL Clough says the 2-0 loss to Ipswich was the best his team have played in the first half so far this season.
He said: "I think that was the best we've played in the first half. Nobody's taking the chances at the moment and they are being shared amongst the team."The chances fell to different people tonight but we just haven't got anybody to put the ball in the back of the net.
"Early on in the season we were chipping in all over the pitch with goals but at the moment nobody seems to be able to finish them off.
"There was some brilliant football tonight leading up to the goals. We're disappointed with the loss and the two goals we conceded but the overall performance and the way we played we're very pleased."
