THEY ARE ALL BIG GAMES NOW SAYS CHRISTENSEN

2 March 2017

LASSE Vigen Christensen says Saturday’s game against struggling Bristol City is no more important than any remaining fixture.

He says: “They are all big games. Every week we are talking about a new important game. Blackburn was very important to us as well. Bristol is the same and after that there will be another one that becomes the most important. That’s the way it’s going to be until the end of the season. It’s just about doing everything you can to win the next game.”

Christensen was happy with a point against Blackburn Rovers despite nearly grabbing all three with a late strike. His shot hit both posts but agonisingly refused to cross the line, resulting in a 1-1 draw.

“It was good defending by the post to keep that one out,” he laughed. “It was just one of them that sometimes g0 for you and sometimes don’t. That sums up football and you have to hope the luck then goes with you for the next few and it’s two posts and in and not two posts and out.

“If you had asked us at half-time we would have taken the draw and to be fair to Blackburn they were really good in the first half. We did some things to change it and had the better of the second half so overall it was a fair result.”
