TICKETS STILL ON SALE FOR QPR

25 July 2016

BURTON Albion are looking forward to welcoming back former manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink when the Brewers face Queens Park Rangers for the Bass Vase on Tuesday.

The game will be played for a normal 90 mins, there will be no extra time or penalties. Kick off is 7.45pm.

In the event of a draw, the Vase will be retained by Burton Albion.

John Jackson, chairman of Burton Albion Community Trust, will be presenting the trophy to the winning team.

Burton Albion chairman Ben Robinson said: “I'm delighted this game against QPR will be played for the Bass Charity Vase. The charity has raised tens of thousands for good causes and has a long and rich history which Burton Albion has always been proud to have a part in.”

The Bass Charity Vase was founded in Burton in 1889 as a football competition to be competed for annually by major teams, particularly Football League clubs. It was decided that the proceeds from the games would be donated mainly to medical-related and hospital charities.

Albion fans can purchase their tickets by calling 01283 565938. Cash-on-the-turnstiles is also available.

Ticket prices are as follows:
Seated: Adult £15, 17 & Under £10
Terrace: Adult £10, 17 & Under £5
