TURNER FOCUSES ON GETTING A RESULT AT NORWICH

23 September 2016

SUMMER-SIGNING Ben Turner served a one-match suspension against Brighton on Saturday, but he’s in line to return to the starting lineup as the Brewers face Norwich.

Turner has bags of experience in the Championship, and has played at Carrow road three times in his career and he admits the 81-year-old stadium can carry one of the best atmospheres in football:

“Norwich has one of the best atmospheres and when they are playing well the place is banging.

“Unfortunately for us we are playing one of the best teams in the league straight aft playing one of the best teams (Brighton) – but that’s the Championship.

“No-one said it was going to be easy. But every game we have a chance to get points and we have to be positive and go there and see what we can get.”

The Brewers will be looking to get back on track in the Championship after losing 1-0 to Brighton on Saturday.

Ben Turner said: “If we set out right and everyone’s at it we can get a result.

“There is no secret, no special formula you get what you deserve. We go there, do our best, work hard and see what we can get.”

Norwich have won their last four games in all competitions including a recent EFL Cup upset against Premier League Everton but Turner is warning The Canaries of Albion’s threat.

“It’s a potential banana skin for them. If they get anything less than three points they will look at it as a failure on the day.

“But it’s just 11 men against 11 men who deserve to be in this league – because we got promoted and they got related.”
