DERBY-BASED boxer Vinny Glover will be visiting the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday when the Brewers take on Norwich City.
Sam Godfrey vs Vinny Glover will take place on Saturday 11 March at the Derby Arena.Glover is currently undefeated in ten fights, including six stoppages and is the current Midlands Area Middleweight champion.
His opponent, Sam Godfrey, is the current British champion but has a loss and draw on his record so Vinny will be moving up a weight class to challenge him.
On the undercard is big hitting heavyweight Nathan Ward in his last fight before retiring as he takes on the 6ft 5, 24 stone giant Rob Lamont.
The event will also feature Lee Froch, Oliver Ashton, Ty Mitchell, Daniel Treacy, Peter Bowler Jnr, Craig Hall and Jack George.
Carl Froch, Tyson Fury, Jonny Nelson and many more are expected to be in attendance, and it’s a show that Vinny is looking forward to.
