AT today’s game Burton Albion is proud to show its support for the Kick It Out campaign.
Kick It Out is football’s equality and inclusion organisation - working throughout the football, educational and community sectors to challenge discrimination, encourage inclusive practices and campaign for positive change, the organisation is funded by The Football Association (FA), the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA), the Premier League and the Football League.
Today, Burton Albion welcomes a wide range of community partners - who are showcasing our work around the national Kick It Out initiative.
Today’s game is our designated Kick it Out fixture and all players will warm up in t-shirts pre-match to raise awareness as will our ball kids, who have been selected from a Kick it Out initiative BACT has been running alongside East Staffordshire Police.
Among the partners attending are Cory Hendricks from Kick It out, Steve Maskrey from East Staffordshire Police and members of the Burton Afghan Society. We also have a number of representatives attending from each of the mosques across Burton.
