COMEDY star Russell Brand was the guest of honour at a charity event at the Pirelli Stadium.
The O'Connor Gateway Charitable Trust chose the Pirelli Stadium as the perfect place to hold its summer fund-raising ball and Rusell Brand was top of the guest list.
The charity helps those who have undergone drug and alcohol rehabilitation reintegrate into society and runs Burton Addiction Centre and Langan's Teamrooms
Founder and chief executive Noreen Oliver has been supported by Russell Brand at several previous events and he was delighted to come to Burton Albion and back the charity again.
He was joined by Amy Winehouse's father Mitch, another long-standing supporter of the charity, who provided the music on the night in front of hundreds of guests.
