JACOB BLYTH RULED OUT FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON

29 March 2015

Blyth has suffered another injury setback

After pulling his quadriceps back in February against Cheltenham Town, Blyth was initially ruled out for four weeks.

Hasselbaink had hoped that Jacob would have joined in training on Friday after having a session with Leicester on Thursday.

Blyth aggravated his injury further after it looked like he could have featured in the squad against Stevenage on Monday night.

The Leicester loanee has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment.

"Devastated to be ruled out for the rest of the season."

"Huge thanks to Burton Albion for a great season n hopefully get that league title!"

Jacob has been a key figure in the Brewers line up this season after joining on loan back in August 2014.

He then went on to add "I'll be right in the middle of it" when asked by a fan on Twitter if he will be watching the remainder of the season.
