NAYLOR SAYS VICTORY WAS 'MASSIVE' FOR BREWERS

2 May 2016

MIDFIELDER Tom Naylor says his injury time winner against Gillingham was the most important of his career.

Speaking after Saturday's 2-1 victory he said: "After I scored there was lot of emotions running through my head. We got it in the last minute and you can't really beat that feeling.

"I don't score many goals and that was the most important. There had been a few chances we might have put away and it wasn't dropping for us. But I got a good ball by Mark Duffy at the back post and I headed it in.

"It's nice to get on the scoresheet but it's not about who gets the goals it's more about the three points than anything else.

"A point wouldn't have been a bad result but the win is massive and sets us up nicely for the last game of the season.

"We just have to remember that we aren't there yet. Hopefully, Fleetwood will sort us out against Walsall but we have one game left and we want to win it.

"We aren't quite there yet but everyone is buzzing.

"Everyone put a great shift in and you can see the spirit in the camp."
