Gravel and sand slits have been added to the pitch.
"We have had drainage slits put in over the weekend which are a foot deep and five centimetres wide."The bottom half of the slits are full of gravel, the top half is full of sand.
"The next stage is to turn over the top so the sand will mix in with the top dressing."
