Phil Edwards has put pen-to-paper on a new one-year-deal which will see him stay at the Pirelli Stadium until the summer of 2016.
The 29-year-old versatile defender signed for the Brewers on a free transfer back in June 2013 and has been ever-present since.Edwards made 50 appearances in the 2014/15 season scoring six goals for the Brewers.
Brewers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said "I am very happy with Phil signing a new contract.
“He is part of the future of the club and his new contract is well deserved.
“He was absolutely magnificent last year.”
