ROBBIE WEIR URGES BREWERS FANS TO GET BEHIND THE TEAM WHEN THEY RETURN TO THE PIRELLI

27 February 2015

After a disappointing defeat to Accrington Stanley on Tuesday night, Robbie Weir says playing at home is a big plus and hopes that the team can get back on track.

The Brewers have never lost at the Pirelli Stadium under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

“Yes I think it is a big plus for us considering our home form and hopefully the crowd can get behind us because we are still up there.” Weir told burtonalbionfc.co.uk

Eight home games have passed, with seven wins and just one draw. 13 goals have been scored and Robbie Weir thinks it is important for the Brewers fans to get behind their side on Saturday.

“It isn’t the end of the world that we lost on Tuesday night so I think it is important for the crowd to get behind us.”

There are only three home games left to be played on a Saturday at the Pirelli with a match with Stevenage still to be played live on Sky Sports (Monday 30th March 7.45pm kick-off)
