STUART BEAVON PRAISES STRIKE PARTNER TIMMY THIELE

25 November 2015

TIMMY Thiele swapped Borussia Dortmund for Burton Albion in the summer to start his new playing career in England.

The quick forward hasn't yet opened his goalscoring account for the Brewers but has certainly made big contributions when on the field.

He was the man to provide the cross for Nasser El Khayati on Tuesday night as he used his lightening quick pace to get in behind the Wigan defence and put the ball on a plate for his fellow forward to nestle in the back of the net.

“Timmy is working hard.”

“Every time he comes on or starts he does really well.

“As a striker I know it is only a matter of time before he starts banging in goals.”

Goals have been something that the Brewers haven’t had too many of so far this season but with the way the set-up, Stuart Beavon says as a forward you need more to your game than just scoring goals.

“I think in our team and the way you play, you need more to your game as a forward.

“Timmy showed that the other night, more sides to his game.

“He got behind the defence and provided the ball for Nasser.”
