THE BREWERS SIGN ANTOINE-CURIER UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON

Burton Albion have signed striker Mickaël Antoine-Curier on a contract until the end of the season.

He is French-born Guadeloupean and has most recently played for Hamilton Academical scoring eight goals this season in the Scottish Premier League before being released.
 
At club level, he has previously played in seven different countries.  Antoine-Curier began his career as a youth in France with Paris Saint-Germain and Nice. Eager to play in the United Kingdom, he signed for Preston North End and then Nottingham Forest as a youth. He initially played academy football, finish top scorer for the Forest academy team with 22 goals in 19 games.
 
Manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said “He is a big player which is what we need after Jacob's injury.
 
"He has scored eight goals in the Scottish Premier League so far this season and I look forward to working with him”
 
He will wear the number 28 shirt and joins subject to a medical and official registration.
