TIMMY THIELE LOOKS FORWARD TO PLAYING IN ENGLAND

30 June 2015

TIMMY Thiele is looking forward to playing in English football for the first time.

The striker, whowas last season at Borussia Dortmund II – the reserve side for the Bundesliga outfit – has signed a one-year-deal to play for the Brewers.

He says: “In England you play good football, very fast and it’s a good fight. I’m a fast player and I hope I can make a good contribution.

“I can shoot with both feet and I can also play on the right or left side, wherever I’m needed.”

Although Thiele is happy to now be with Albion, he enjoyed his time at Borussia Dortmund.

He says: “Although I played in the reserve team, I sometimes trained with the first team. I had a few injuries which meant it wasn’t always good for me but now I’m healthy and I hope I stay healthy.

“I’m looking forward to playing in League One, that’s the third league in England and I played in the third League in Germany. I have seen League One on TV and I think it’s a good quality.

“I’m happy to be here and I would like to give 100 per cent and I hope I can help the team. The team has already been great with me. They have welcomed me in the group and I know it will be a good time here.

“I’m looking to get an apartment here and I’m looking forward to a good life in England.”
