TICKET PRICES ARE ANNOUNCED FOR THE 2015/16 SEASON

23 April 2015

Burton Albion will be operating a new match day pricing structure to coincide with the club's first ever season in League One.

After securing promotion the club has decided to encourage fans to buy tickets in advance which will help ease congestion on match days and cope with the expected increase in demand.

Prices will rise by £2 for all tickets bought on the day for both terraces and reserved seats in the main stand.

Burton Albion chairman Ben Robinson said: "Having gained promotion to League One for the first time in the club's history we can look forward to some very big games next year. A lot of the clubs in League One have a large contingent of travelling fans and with demand expected to be high from our own supporters as well, we believe encouraging fans to buy tickets in advance is the best policy. With only a limited number of seats at the Pirelli Stadium, we feel buying in advance will benefit our supporters and ease congestion at turnstiles and at the ticket office on match days.

"Fans can enjoy one of the best value days out in League One by buying tickets up to the day before the game and can cut the cost still further by buying a season ticket, guaranteeing admission to every League One game.”

Match day prices for the 2015/16 season will be £22 for adults (seats), £19 (standing). Prices will be £20 (seats), £17 (standing) bought in advance. The prices for OAPs will be £20 (seats), £17 (standing) on match days and £18 (seats), £15 (standing) bought in advance. For juniors the prices will be £12 (seats), £5 (standing) on match days and £10 (seats), £5 (standing) in advance.

Young supporters can also enjoy further savings through season tickets with prices starting at just £50 for 12 and unders and £75 for 16 and unders for the terraces. That works out at just £2.17 per match for under 12s.

Adult season tickets for the 2015/16 season are priced at £323 for the terraces and £380 for a reserved seat, meaning that Albion supporters can enjoy League One football next season for just £14.04 per match (standing) or £16.52 per match (seated).
