Tomlinson Signs Contract Extension

Brewers keeper signs one month extension

Burton Albion goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson has signed a one month contract extension with the Brewers which will now see him stay with the club until February 7th 2013.

The former Port Vale goalkeeper has been out of action since October after a posterior cruciate ligament injury sustained against his former club.

Burton Albion manager Gary Rowett said, ‘We are really pleased that Tomo is ahead of schedule in our recovery and we’ve always wanted to support him through the injury. We see him as part of the squad and the very second that he’s back fit we will look at doing something longer. This extension allows some more time for him to get back to fitness.’
