Tickets are now on sale for the England U18 V Republic of Ireland U18 Centenary Shield match, to be played at the Pirelli Stadium on Friday 30th April 2010.
Burton and District Schools Football Association are to stage the final game in the 2010 Centenary Shield. England U18's v Republic of Ireland U18's on Friday 30th April 2010 K.O. 7-40p.m at the Pirelli Stadium, home of Burton Albion Football Club.
This is a huge honour for the Association to be asked to stage such a prestigious fixture and it would have been impossible to do so without the continuous support to schools football of Chairman Ben Robinson and the Directors of Burton Albion FC.
With the game being shown live on SKY TV the Association, which is an amalgam of schools in Burton and South Derbyshire, has a unique opportunity to showcase all that is good about our area. It also presents a huge opportunity to potential match sponsors and advertisers to become involved in the game. Ticket prices will be low, £5/3 for seating and £3/1 for the terraces.
It is planned to hold both pre-match and half time entertainment using pupils from local schools.
