Greg is now in his fourth season with the Brewers having joined the club from Blue Square South side Bishops Stortford prior to the 2008-09 season that saw Albion promoted as champions. A former West Ham United trainee, Greg left the Hammers without making a senior appearance but with loan spells at Lincoln City and Canvey Island under his belt. After leaving Upton Park Greg joined Rushden & Diamonds but was released from Nene Park in the summer of 2007 after also taking in a loan spell with Hucknall Town. Rushden's loss was Bishop Stortford's gain as Greg scored 42 goals in 67 appearances and was named Conference South player Of The Year and top goalscorer in 2007-08. His prolific form brought him to the attention of the Brewers amongst others and Albion paid an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2008 to bring him to the Pirelli Stadium. Scored his first goal within two minutes of his debut scoring 20 goals in his debut season as Albion won promotion and then had the honour of scoring Albion's first Football League goal (v. Shrewsbury Town) and first Football League hat-trick (v. Aldershot Town)
