Popular and talented winger who celebrated the end of his first season with the Brewers by picking up the goal of the season trophy for a fine goal that proved to be the winner against Grimsby Town at Blundell Park in October 2009, his first Football League goal. Began his career with his home town club, Stoke City making rapid progress through the youth and reserve teams catching the eye with some fine performances and earning a first team squad number for the 2008-09 season. Had a loan spell with Stafford Rangers towards the end of 2008 before Paul Peschisolido swooped to offer Jimmy a contract after impressing during last pre-season, the youngster having surprisingly been released from the Britannia Stadium.
