Andy is now in his tenth season with the Brewers having signed for the club from Nuneaton Borough in November 2003. After beginning his career as a youngster with Crewe Alexandra it was with Kidderminster Harriers that he made his breakthrough as a first team player making a handful of appearances before dropping into non-league with Redditch United, Solihull Borough and Nuneaton Borough prior to Nigel Clough paying a nominal fee to bring him to Albion. Andy began his career as a striker but during his time with the club he has proved to be a versatile and reliable member of team either on the right side of midfield or at right back where he has established himself as a regular, first coming to prominence in that position in 2003-04 when he won player of the year in that role after injury ruled out the regular right back for the whole season.
