ANOTHER talent graduating from the Burton Albion Academy into the first team, Joe Sbarra made the step up to the first team in the summer of 2017.

Joe featured regularly during the 2017/18 season, our second in the Championship, after making his league debut on the final day of the 2016/17 season.

Skilful and creative, he came up with some important assists from both the bench and the starting XI in the second tier.

After a promising pre-season, Joe found opportunities hard to come by after injury and spent the remainder of the 2018/19 season on loan at Solihull Moors.

He returned and made 33 appearances before the 2019/20 season was curtailed, scoring once that campaign, and subsequently joined Solihull on a permanent basis at the end of his contract.
