BURTON Albion Academy is about producing well-rounded young people as well as developing them as footballers.

Academy manager Dan Robinson says: “If our youth team players don’t complete their college work, don’t put the effort in there, they don’t train and don’t play. We want them to appreciate that they need to work hard in all aspects of their life to be successful.

“When we talk about our players we also ask what they are like as a person.  Character and work ethic and sharing the club’s values are a huge part of it.”
