Burton Albion prides itself on excellent customer service and are looking to recruit a part time Club Shop Retail Assistant/Administrator. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive excellent customer service when visiting our Club Shop. The role will be based on part-time hours with some flexibility in the working hours.

The role will require to work on Saturday mornings, and in addition, to work outside of normal working hours, at evenings, and weekends for match days as and when required. 

Previous retail experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given. It will be essential to be creative and confident to ensure the Club Shop and merchandise are displayed and changed frequently.

You will also be expected to support office and ticketing administration within the general office, and full training will be provided for this. The work will be varied and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in an extremely fast paced environment will be essential.

You will be required to have excellent IT and communication skills, with the ability to always go that extra mile to ensure our customers have an amazing experience when they visit our Club Shop.

Burton Albion Football Club has an exciting opportunity to recruit an Assistant Groundskeeper at the Pirelli Stadium to assist and support the Head Groundskeeper in maintaining and preparing playing surfaces and surrounding areas of the stadium to an exceptional standard. 

Reporting directly to the Head Groundskeeper you must be a hardworking, ambitious individual who is willing to work outdoors in all weathers and work as a team member. A good level of physical fitness is required. 

The work will be varied and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment is essential. You must have a genuine interest in sports turf and horticulture with an eye to detail and always willing to go that extra mile. Applicants must have good communication skills and be excellent timekeepers.

Burton Albion provides hospitality for various functions including match days, events, weddings, private functions, meetings, annual events, wakes, Christmas & New Year parties and corporate dinners and exhibitions. We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and well organised individual with an exceptional eye for detail, to carry out admin and co-ordination duties to assist and support our Conference & Events team.

You will be required to work closely with both the Conference & Events Manager and the hospitality team in their commitment to delivering a high level

of customer service and have a flexible approach to carrying out a range of different tasks.

You must have a genuine interest and enthusiasm in the hospitality industry together with working as part of a team, and be prepared to go that extra mile to enhance the customer experience. Applicants must have good communication skills, and be excellent timekeepers.

Job Title: Safety Team Steward
Location: The Pirelli Stadium, Burton Albion Football Club
Type of Contract: Seasonal Rolling Contract, Match Day - permanent
Reporting To: Safety Officer

PURPOSE & JOB ROLE:

Burton Albion are looking to recruit a number of Safety Team Stewards to work first team home matches along with any other adhoc matches that may be played at the Pirelli Stadium. The role requires Stewards to be proactive in the provision of safety, security and customer service to
everyone attending Burton Albion matches at the Pirelli Stadium. The role requires working predominantly weekends along with some evenings and bank holidays.

MAIN ACCOUNTIBILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Stewards will report directly to the Safety Officer and:

• Comply at all times with BAFC Code of Conduct and Club Values
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety
• Attend pre and post-match briefing sessions and ensure you understand the instructions
given
• Control and direct spectators with courtesy and consideration and support the Safety Team in
delivering a safe and enjoyable experience
• Attend training sessions as required
• Complete all tasks as reasonably requested by the Safety Team before, during and after the
match
• Adhere to the Club Stewards dress code of black trousers, white shirt and black shoes which
will be worn along with the hi-visibility jacket/bib which will supplied by the Club
• The Steward role at Burton Albion is primarily one of customer service and you will be
expected to provide advice and support to visitors when required

HEALTH & SAFETY:

• Take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues and other members of the public who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work
• Comply with all aspects of the Clubs Health & Safety Policy and arrangements, to enable the Club to perform its civil and statutory obligations in relation to Health & Safety

The Pirelli Stadium is now reopen for hospitality, conferencing and events (in line with all relevant Government guidance).

We are looking for matchday cooks for our snack bars (17+ only). Previous hospitality experience is not a necessity for this exciting opportunity. We are looking for people that take pride in appearance, excellent customer service skills and enthusiasm for the industry. Full training will be given to all staff.
