Les Blood Celebrates Birthday at St. George's Park

Burton Albion supporter Les Blood celebrated his 100th birthday on Thursday with a visit to see the Burton Albion squad at St. George’s Park. Mr Blood was greeted by Burton Albion Chairman Ben Robinson and manager Gary Rowett. After meeting the players Mr Blood and his family were then invited to a celebratory meal at the Hilton Hotel restaurant at St. George’s Park, joined by Ben Robinson.

Mr Blood was presented with an especially signed Albion shirt and birthday card as well as receiving his official telegram from the Queen to congratulate him on his birthday.

All at Burton Albion would like to congratulate Les on this marvellous milestone birthday and we look forward to welcoming him and his family to our match against Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
