McGrath Makes Comeback in Reserves

Shrewsbury Town Reserves 1-2 Burton Albion Reserves

Brewers skipper John McGrath has made a successful return to action in Tuesday afternoon's 2-1 victory over Shrewsbury Town Reserves at the Greenhous Meadow.

McGrath, playing his first match since February, played 71 minutes of the game. Chris Palmer and Marcus Holness who also made returns after spells on the sidelines both played the full 90 minutes.

An own goal and a Matt Paterson strike gave the Brewers victory after trailing 1-0 at the break. A mix of first team players and youth development players featured for the Albion side.

Brewers XI: Lyness, Corbett, Hassell, Holness, Brown, Peverley, C. Palmer, McGrath, Chapell, Richards, Paterson. Subs: Alexander, Wilson, Poole.
