England U16s v Scotland U16s
England U16s will continue their Sky Sports Victory Shield campaign in late November when they play host to Scotland at Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium.
Kenny Swain’s Young Lions will play their final match against the Auld-Enemy and will stay and train at St George’s Park.
‘We had a fantastic start to the Victory Shield this year beating Northern Ireland last week in Belfast 0-5 and we hope to continue this against Wales and Scotland.
‘Scotland is always a competitive fixture when we play them, and we will look to the people of Burton to come out and support the boys on the night.
‘We recently played two games in the Under 17’s friendly tournament at the Pirelli Stadium in August and both games produced good crowds.
Burton Albion chairman Ben Robinson said of the announcement of the match: “We are delighted to be hosting yet another prestigious international football event here at the Pirelli Stadium. These high profile matches provide another boost to our local community and provide a great opportunity for fans and their families across the local area to see some great football and promising under 16’s talent.”
England will be looking to retain the prestigious trophy for the twelve time in a row this season, with the likes of Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney, Theo Walcott and Jack Butland representing their country in the tournament.
