Evan Garnett and Jack Green Move to Hucknall Town
Two of Burton Albion’s academy products, Evan Garnett and Jack Green, have joined Hucknall Town on loan until December 15th, subject to confirmation of paperwork.
Garnett and Green, both 18, were offered professional deals with Burton Albion after graduating from the Brewers Scholarship squad at the end of last season. Striker Garnett appeared in a number of matchday squads throughout the 2011/12 season but is yet to make his professional debut for the club. Green, a central defender, is also yet to make his first team debut for the Brewers.
The pair join Evo-Stik League Northern Premier - First Division South outfit Hucknall on a three month loan deal.
Brewers manager Gary Rowett said, ‘It’s important now that Evan and Jack go out and get some experience of men’s football. Evan had some last year with a loan out to Belper and this will add to that.’
