Burton Albion take on npower League 2 Champions-elect Gillingham on Saturday, 27th April and tickets will only be available to purchase in advance.
With the Brewers in the automatic promotion places with two matches to play, the season finale at the Pirelli Stadium is likely to be one of the most pivotal matches in the club’s recent history.
Given the magnitude of the game an increased attendance is expected; prompting the club to establish an all-ticket policy.
The change to all-ticket does not affect the Main Stand seated areas with the process remaining the same as a normal match.
There is also no change to seat and terrace Season Ticket holders and VPs; who will have their allocated voucher number 23.Â
However for the North and West Terrace stands all Burton Albion fans will be required to purchase tickets for standing in advance.
After Season Ticket holders, those attending the Gillingham match will have priority on tickets if a play-off fixture is necessary; with supporters asked to retain their Gillingham ticket as proof of purchase.
Burton Albion Chairman Ben Robinson commented: ‘The final match against Gillingham promises to be a terrific spectacle and a memorable occasion for all involved with Burton Albion.
‘Considering the likely increased demand, we are endeavouring to ensure the matchday experience is a smooth and enjoyable one for all our supporters. Making the game all-ticket is the best way of ensuring Brewers fans can soak up the atmosphere on the day with no delay or complications.’
Supporters are being encouraged to get behind the side by wearing the club’s colours in an attempt to turn the Pirelli Stadium into a sea of yellow.
There will also be a new selection of merchandise available from the Club Shop ranging from hats, flags and horns to enhance what is sure to be an electric atmosphere against Gillingham.
Tickets will be available from Thursday 18th April, either by purchasing from the Pirelli Stadium or by contacting the Ticket Office on 01283 565938.
