The Brewers enhanced their reputation as one of the sides to watch in League 2 this season with a stunning 3-2 victory over hotly fancied Fleetwood Town on their own patch.
In terrible driving rain and wind blowing down the pitch, Albion used the conditions to their benefit during the first half racing into a 3-0 lead inside 34 minutes courtesy of goals from Rene Howe, Adam McGurk and Chris Hussey. Fleetwood fought back after the break and goals from Jeff Hughes and Jamille Matt produced a rousing finish with Albion defending manfully to secure an impressive three points and push them up to fifth place in the early League 2 table.
