Club clarifies recent anti-social behaviour issues
It is with regret that, following a number of complaints from Burton Albion supporters about the behaviour of a small number of Burton fans at recent home and away games, the Club has had no option but to issue four supporters with letters banning them from all home games until the end of this season and a further three fans with warning letters about their future conduct.

The recent incidents are not in isolation - all four banned individuals having previously been issued with a warning in respect of their behaviour or served a ban.

Therefore the Club have been left with no option but to issue these letters having being disappointed that they have continued to try and bring the club into disrepute. Some complaints are so serious that they have been made directly to Staffordshire Police, who have investigated an incident and liaised with the Club and fully support the club’s actions.

Burton Albion prides itself on its family friendly environment both at home and away fixtures and does not want a small number of individuals disrupting loyal supporters and harming the Club's future fan base from attending matches at The Pirelli Stadium.

As a Club we hope that all fans focus on the excellent performance by the team over the up and coming games, the support this season has played a large role in allowing the team to express themselves and create an exciting end to the season.

We want our fans to be vocal in the right manner creating a family environment home and away and the club, in conjunction with the Community Trust, have plans in place to engage fans leading to the end of the season in creating a unique atmosphere at The Pirelli Stadium which will be open for anyone to attend.

The club has and will continue to take a strong zero tolerance stance on anti-social behaviour.
