John McGrath on loan to York City
Burton Albion club captain John McGrath has today agreed to join fellow League 2 side York City on loan subject to the completion of the appropriate paperwork.'Macca' has joined the Minstermen on a deal until 11th March and links up with his former Tamworth manager Gary Mills who is now in charge at Bootham Crescent.
Since recovering from a serious foot injury that curtailed his involvement from February of last season, Macca has made six appearances for the club this season since returning from his injury in early November taking his tally to 246 appearances and 19 goals since joining the club in the summer of 2007.
